Acceptance
By using GeoTag Photos, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the product for a client, company, agency, or organization, you are responsible for confirming that you have authority to process those files and manage that account.
Product scope
GeoTag Photos is a practical metadata tool. It helps users read image metadata, add or replace GPS coordinates, export tagged copies, create ZIP files, and generate verification reports. It is not legal advice, SEO advice, compliance advice, or a guarantee of platform behavior.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping login access secure and for activity under your account. We may limit, suspend, or close access if we detect abuse, payment problems, security risk, or behavior that harms the service or other users.
Your files and responsibilities
You keep ownership of images you process. GeoTag Photos does not claim ownership over your files. You are responsible for having the right to use, modify, geotag, export, publish, or deliver those files.
You are also responsible for verifying exported files before publishing or delivering them. Metadata compatibility can vary by image format, viewer, browser, operating system, and third-party platform.
No ranking guarantees
GeoTag Photos does not guarantee improved rankings in Google Search, Google Images, Google Maps, Google Business Profile, or any other platform. Do not represent geotagged photos as a guaranteed ranking tactic when delivering work to clients.
Plans, limits, and subscriptions
Free and Pro features may have limits, including file count, file size, exports, address searches, CSV imports, reports, resize, watermarking, and saved location presets. Plan features and prices may change for future billing periods.
Pro access is managed through Creem. If payment fails, a subscription is canceled, or a provider webhook reports a status change, Pro access may end or downgrade according to the account status we receive.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund requests should be sent to support@geotagphotos.app. Refunds are reviewed under the Refund Policy and may depend on payment records, account usage, technical issues, fraud checks, and applicable law.
Acceptable use
- Do not process files you do not have permission to use or modify.
- Do not attempt to bypass Free or Pro usage limits.
- Do not use automated abuse, credential sharing, or payment fraud.
- Do not upload, email, or process illegal, infringing, or non-consensual material.
- Do not use the service to intentionally misrepresent where a photo was taken.
- Do not interfere with the service, providers, maps, geocoding, payments, or security systems.
Third-party services
GeoTag Photos relies on Vercel for hosting, Clerk for authentication, Supabase for application data, Mapbox for maps and geocoding, Google Analytics 4 for analytics, and Creem for payment processing. Their availability, limits, terms, and policies may affect the service.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, provider outages, browser changes, quota limits, security issues, bugs, or network conditions may affect access, exports, address search, or metadata compatibility.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as is and as available. You are responsible for checking output files, reviewing coordinates, confirming rights to use images, and deciding whether exported files are suitable for your workflow.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, GeoTag Photos is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service, output files, metadata decisions, third-party services, or platform behavior.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
